Pets Own was born and bred in Melbourne in 1991 as a family-owned business that combined the talents of a connoisseur food technologist and a marketing wizard.
In a cross between Australian ingenuity and the booming dairy industry, we created the world’s first and original lactose-free milk for pets. Packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, we were soon on show in the grocery aisles as an exciting new breed in the Australian natural pet food market.
Over the next few years, our family grew fast to meet demand from discerning pet carers across Australia and overseas.
Always driven by our choice to use premium and natural ingredients, the Pets Own range expanded to offer tasty straps, sticks and biscuits for even the fussiest of our furry friends.
Recently we rewarded our loyal customers with a few new tricks. We rebranded the Pets Own label, reformulated our pet milks with even more value-packed goodness, and expanded the variety of natural and nutritious treats.
